31st January 2011 - VISIT TO PITCORTHIE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Ryan and Calder vet Graham Dodds had a fantastic afternoon visiting the children of P6 at Pitcorthie Primary School. He hoped the children enjoyed the talk and getting to try our veterinary gadgets in the classroom. A big thanks to the school and to Mrs Dargie and Miss Holness for their time and enthusiasm.
20th September 2010 - OPEN DAY A HUGE SUCCESS
Yesterday's Open Day at our Veterinary Centre in Dunfermline attracted hundreds of people keen to see how our practice works. All of our staff turned up voluntarily to run the event in which people from all ages got a chance to try our endoscopes, examine x-rays and have a go at intra-abdomenal surgery on a soft toy dog! We also had the church hall on Abbey Park Place for the afternoon, where there were acupuncture demonstrations, stalls and a Heelwork to Music demonstration from one of our clients, Mrs Fyfe and her marvelous dog Ziegy, who also appeared on Britain's Got Talent!
Everybody who attended seemed to have a great time and we wish to thank all of our guests for attending and making the day day a great success.
Please visit our Facebook page for videos and more pictures taken at our Open Day.
19th September 2010 - OPEN DAY AT RYAN AND CALDER
On the 19th of September Ryan and Calder will be holding an Open Day at the Dunfermline branch of the Practice.
From 2pm until 4pm the door will be open for a "behind-the-scenes" look at how the surgery is run. You will be able to look at our modern facilities and see demonstrations of our diagnostic equipment by our experts including the ultrasound, the endoscope, the laboratory and our x-rays facilities. A mock-up operating theatre will also be set up for you to experience operating! Across the road in the Abbey Hall we will have stalls and displays from some of our friends including the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and the Cat Action Trust.
There will be plenty to entertain both children and adults, including a Heelwork to Music Demonstration as featured on "Britain's Got Talent".
Please come along for free to experience our practice and meet the team. Even if you are not registered with us you are more than welcome. We respectfully request that pets are left at home on the day. There will be a few weird and wonderful creatures for you to see on the day.
We look forward to seeing you there...The Ryan and Calder Team.
