SOUNDS SCARY EVENING
this evening was a great success
and everyone we spoke to afterwards found it very
informative and helpful.
a big thank you to Gillian for organising the event,
Sarah Heath for giving a very entertaining lecture and
Gordon Gow from Ceva Animal Health for supporting the
evening.
thank you to everyone who turned up to support the event.
SOUNDS SCARY EVENING
Thursday 18th May - 7pm until 9pm
Abbey Church Hall - Abbey Park Place
is your pet scared of fireworks
or loud noises?
Ryan and Calder are hosting an evening
lecture by Sarah Heath - pet behaviour counsellor.
She will give advice and training strategies to
help you and your pet cope with the fireworks season.
The event is free but you do have to book your place
- either phone or pop into reception.
(no pets at this event please!)
Bella ~ Angela's new puppy

Bella was born on the 24th of January 2006.
She was born by caesarian section and Angela was
present at the birth! She is a Boston Terrier and Angela
is taking her home on Satruday (18th March). Needless
to say Angela is very excited. We will hopefully bring
you more BELLAUPDATES throughout the year.
exam results: August 2005
Claire passed her Animal Nursing Assistant Exams
The role of an Animal Nursing Assistant could incorporate
feeding, cleaning and general husbandry of pets pre and post
operatively, involvement in the day to day running of the
practice ie., reception duties, client management, assisting
in the consulting rooms and preparation of the animals and the
treatment areas. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth
running of the practice and the well being of the pets.
This qualification is also a method of entry qualification
onto the Veterinary Nursing course for those students who do
not have the required standard grades.
Kerry passed her 1st year RCVS Veterinary Nursing exams.
Not only that, she had a baby boy called Marshall the day
day after she received her results, so she's had a busy year.
We wish Kerry all the best and look forward to her returning in
February.
