Laboratory

We have our own in-house laboratory, allowing many tests to be carried out and results delivered to you on the same day.

Not only does this reduce the length of your anxious wait for the external labs to send results, but it more importantly permits us to treat our patients more quickly and accurately with a tailor made therapy protocol that is best for your pet.


Our laboratory houses a blood analysing system capable of measuring biochemical parameters, electrolytes, hormones and cell properties, along with more advanced parameters that most other practices need to send to external labs to investigate. Our machines are fully linked into our computer system - allowing your pets' results to be logged electronically on their records and plotted dynamically if necessary.

Our vets and nurses are specially trained to use all of our equipment and know how to interpret the results they produce, afterall - there's no point in having the top-class tools if you don't have top-class operators.
