Branches
When Ryan and Calder was first established in 1983, services were run from a small premises on Canmore Street (now a pizzaria). However, we quickly outgrew the building and moved to a larger premises on St Margaret Street (now a night club), buying over an existing veterinary practice in 1985.

Over the following decade Ryan and Calder expanded further, employing more vets and nurses as our reputation grew as the leading pet health providers in Dunfermline. In fact, demand for our services was so great from the surrounding areas that we opened a branch of the practice in Dalgety Bay in 1989 to cater for our loyal client base outside of the town centre.
By 1995 our Dunfermline premises had again become too small to house the equipment and provide the workspace needed to run a premier veterinary centre, and so we relocated once more, this time further down the road to where we are now opposite the world famous Dunfermline Abbey. From here, in what is Dunfermline's largest veterinary surgery, we cater exclusively for small animals, focusing all of our attention and expertise on these species to ensure you get the best and most up-to-date diagnosis and treatment methods available. Although our premises have grown in size we are still very much a family run practice with great emphasis put on personal friendly veterinary care.
Please select a surgery to display corresponding opening hours and details on how to find and contact each branch.
